I've used all my GB for this month and it's the first time I've ever come this far. I have 5 GB and due to a Garmin maps update, they are all gone. I called Verizon tonight and I get 1 GB more for $10 additional dollars. I'll never do that again. When I need to get an update, I'll go to wi-fi place. My change over date is on the 4th of the month and I just really don't think I could do w/out service for that long. I changed over to the 4g aircard a few months ago and this is the first place it has picked up. I really can't tell the difference between 3g & 4 g service.
Today has been so hot that I've just stayed inside most of the day. I went swimming, well, actually floating, this morning and then just vegged most of the day. I defrosted the freezer, mopped the floors and cleaned the bathroom so all was not lost.
Thanks Brenda for posting. It's was good to hear from you again. Also to new reader, Carolyn, thanks for posting a comment too. I love reading comments from my readers.

Had a good time visiting with you at Cages Bend. It's such a nice place to camp but would be much better with a swim beach. Learned a lot from the "pro" and grateful for the knowledge. Perhaps our paths will cross near the Okefenokee.

Wow! That 5G went fast! Glad it was 'only' $10 to buy extra. Too bad you couldn't head 'north' to get away from the heat. We were at Whitefish on Tuesday and we word jackets in the morning, but then it was up in the high 80's here later in the day. Dave and Tina said it was 95 at Citrus Ridge/Manny's. I'm getting homesick again and sure miss the pool. Were you floating in Old Hickory Lake?
The reason you can't tell the difference between 3G & 4G is that only the really big cities have 4G so most of the time you are on 3G. But all in all it is a lot faster then in the olden days. Gald your still having a great time on the road!!!
Have fun & Travel safe

@Margie, of course I went swimming in Old Hickory Lake. It was the closest place to get wet. I thought it was about time to miss CR. I miss the pool too.
We had the Verizon 5 gig plan but after we saw how fast the two of us used up, we upgraded to 10G. No problems now!
I'm just very upset with Verizon's data usage and speed. I live in upstate NY and Verizon doesn't work inside my office!
I'm planning to make a move to AT&T soon.
