I will be taking you on a journey with me during my retirement. Going from a stick house to an RV and will be on my way to who knows where. You will read fun, fear, confusion. You will see what I see. I am new to writing. Don't get discouraged by my grammar, my punctuation and my spelling, it's nothing but a "thang." God will be on my journey, I may not mention him all the time, but he is with me. I have the best family & friends in the world. Life is Good!

RVing Women Rally
As it turns out while I am in Key West, the Florida Chapter of the RVing Women came to the Keys for their monthly rally. This was the first rally I have attended since I became a member. Lynette Birch was the wagon master and she put together a terrific rally complete with 2 seminars. One on fire safety in an RV and the other on personal safety. I met so many wonderful women and fur babies that I can't wait until we get together again. There were 17 rigs there and they ranged from a Burro, Class B's, Class C's and Class A's. Every type of rig was represented. I think I was the only one there who full-timed.
The rally was held at the Geiger Key Marina & RV park about 4 miles down the road from where I am staying. It made it convenient to just hop in the car and run down there. We ate some good fish and barbecue ribs & chicken. We also had some great entertainment at the bar.
The first night was had a puppy shower for one of the ladies, Nichole, who was going to get a new puppy. The Marina furnished snacks for us to eat during the shower. Everyone brought their fur babies to celebrate the new baby. Mary was our fisher woman. She brought out some pretty good mango snapper. I understand that she has fish fries at several rally's throughout the year. We had planned to go kayaking one morning but the wind didn't cooperate so that had to be canceled.
Remember if you want to see the picture larger, click on it. A good time was had by all.
Later...

Ha Ha I clicked on the first photo (you) and it didn't enlarge. I wanted to see what was on your plate! All the other photos enlarged though. Loved the doggy photos. Hope Sedona went with you that day. What's the new puppy? The dachschund in the photo? Loved those 3 dogs that two ladies were holding up - cuties! Looks like you are meeting lots of fun people. Never saw a burro before.
Ha Ha!! I read Margie's comment after reading your post. Then had to go back and look at pix trying to find that burro!! Couldn't find a burro (4 legged type) and then read blog again and saw that it's some type of MH/RV/TT!!!! LOL!! Enjoyed pix, and looks like another great time!
Just looked down the page and saw that my word verification is "potoot".......and for some reason it gave me a good laugh!!
You have been busy woman. Finally picked up my new computer. I kept putting it off but got tired of my old one running so slow and freezing up on me as I tried to read about everyone's adventures. You make Key West look marvelous! Much nicer than what I saw. I might actually have to spend money and come back now. I think it was the smell of the dead fish from the winter freeze that did it. Am hoping that the oil gets stopped before it hits your water...
